Rich began his golfing career as the first assistant at Etchinghill Golf back in May 1995.
He qualified as a Professional in 2002 and has subsequently continued to learn, gain knowledge and add qualifications to his CV.
Following on from Etchinghill Golf, Rich has worked as the Head Assistant at Littlestone Golf Club, Golf Operations at Princes, Head Professional at Walmer and Kingsdown Golf Club followed by becoming The Director of Golf at Kingsdown in 2020.
As a left handed Professional, Rich has an excellent coaching reputation, he is a specialist in short game coaching and also a certified putting instructor.
He also owns a Trackman launch monitor that can be used in any lesson to give accurate shot data.

I first started playing golf at Etchinghill in 2019. Since then I have worked at a few local golf clubs and in 2023 I started working at Etchinghill Golf Trust.
In September 2024 I started my PGA training and took over all junior roll up classes as well as offering private lessons for juniors.
As of September 2025 I started my second year of training and have now started to offer private and group lessons for adults.
