OLLY FRANCIS

I started playing golf at Etchinghill when I was 9 years old and spent many a summer going round the Par 3 course. During the intervening years I have worked at a number of other clubs and spent a year working in Spain. I have been in the golf industry since I was 16 years old.
In 2018 I became a fully qualified PGA golf professional and joined Etchinghill as their Head Pro in 2020 I enjoy all aspect of my role, every day is different and I feel very privileged to be able to work in an industry that I love. I enjoy coaching people of all levels from complete beginners to PGA professionals.
I am a great believer in using technology to enhance my lesson’s ability. I own a Trackman 4 and Capto putting technology.

DIRECTOR OF COACHING
RICHARD PERKINS

Rich began his golfing career as the first assistant at Etchinghill Golf back in May 1995.

He qualified as a Professional in 2002 and has subsequently continued to learn, gain knowledge and add qualifications to his CV.

Following on from Etchinghill Golf, Rich has worked as the Head Assistant at Littlestone Golf Club, Golf Operations at Princes, Head Professional at Walmer and Kingsdown Golf Club followed by becoming The Director of Golf at Kingsdown in 2020.

As a left handed Professional, Rich has an excellent coaching reputation, he is a specialist in short game coaching and also a certified putting instructor.

He also owns the latest Flightscope launch monitor technology that can be used in any lesson to give accurate shot data.
